The MX36 has been designed to offer a uniquely simple and superior solution to the long-standing problem of routing of multiple mixing consoles outputs to a speaker system / system processor. You don’t want to be trusting this to an inferior sub-mixer or an over-specified, over-complex processor – get the right tool for the job – Do it properly while saving money! The MX36 Console Switching System is THE solution.
MX36
Multi-Format, DSP enabled, Console & Audio Switcher

The MX36 handles 36 inputs in a sleek 2U format, across analogue, AES, and Dante sources – These are arranged in sets of four (to typically support Left-Right-Front Fill and Sub feeds from an individual console).
All AES inputs have SRC. There is one set of four outputs, available simultaneously across analogue, AES and Dante networks with Word Clock output sync available on AES.
Even when you’re not monitoring a source the MX36 will be. It will be checking the signal integrity and will auto-select the highest priority source seamlessly if anything fails.
All you have to do is press A, B or C to choose what’s routed to the four outputs (again all available in analogue, AES and Dante flavours simultaneously, with the option for external sync on the AES outputs).
Feed in a stereo source direct to the MX for background music and a mic for announcements. Plug in some headphones and monitor every individual feed from any source, plus check what’s on the outputs and even verify your redundancy failovers beforehand.
Once you’re happy, lock it all down and walk away, safe in the knowledge that the MX will keep the music playing, with dual redundant power supplies, and XTA’s 30+ years of DSP knowledge ensuring your audio is treated with white gloves through the best audio conversion.

MX Control
The MX Control utility will meter all input and outputs on multiple units simultaneously.
Name sets to help with identification, and see which are active. Choose what groups are displayed to customise the views. Keep an eye on redundancy and see the unit switch input sources automatically.
Resize metering to work as a reassuring background monitor or maximise for full screen additional metering.
